ARDALAN JABBARI - VOCAL

Ardalan Jabbari is a Professor of Voice at the Richard Wagner Conservatory in Vienna. In addition, Ardalan Jabbari is an international artist manager (CADEMI Artists Management), casting director (Liederherbst Wien Festival), opera singer (Baritone), and vocal coach.

Ardalan Jabbari graduated with honors his Bachelor’s and four Master’s studies in “Voice”, “Lied and Oratorio”, “Opera”, as well as “Master of Arts Education” at the University of Arts Graz (KUG) and at the Music and Art Private University of the City of Vienna (MUK), each with distinction.

His engagements have led him to various places including Baku, Milan, Istanbul, Ravello, Salerno, Bolzano, Vienna, Graz, Darmstadt, Ulm, and Fürth. Ardalan Jabbari sung Tonio (“Pagliacci”) at the Baku State Opera, the Chief/Head Waiter/Doctor2/Guard in the contemporary opera (“The Antelope”) by Johannes Maria Staud at Neue Oper Wien as well as at Teatro Comunale Bolzano. He has sung, among others, Germont (“La Traviata”) at the Milan Auditorium with the Milan Symphony Orchestra, Ford (“Falstaff”) at the Vienna Schönbrunn Palace Theater, Macbeth and Iago (“Otello”) at the Darmstadt Residenzfestspiele, and Kwasi (“Zum goldenen Giger”) at Stadttheater Fürth with the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra. At the MuTH Concert Hall of the Vienna he sung Don Alfonso (“Cosi fan tutte”), Lord Sydney (“Il viaggio a Reims”), Nick Shadow (“The Rake’s Progress”); at the Vienna Akzent Theater and Grazer Mumuth: Il Conte (“Le nozze di Figaro”), The Forester (“Das schlaue Füchslein”), the Chamberlain (“Le Rossignol”), and Simone (“Gianni Schicchi”)etc.
He has performed various gala concerts at venues including the Teatro Comunale Giuseppe Verdi in Salerno, the Auditorium in Ravello, the Grazer Musikverein and Kasematten, the Helmut List Halle in Graz, and the Alte Oper Frankfurt.
 In addition he delighted his audiences in numerous recitals, including the “Wiener Lieder Herbst” festival in Vienna and St.Veit an der Glan. On the occasion of the 150th birthday of Hugo Wolf in Vienna, Salzburg, Graz, Linz and he also interpreted Schubert’s Der Schwanengesang and the Italian songbook of Hugo Wolf. He sang in Ulm Messa per Rossini (with the Kammerphilharmonie Bodensee- Oberschwaben).
He is a laureate of numerous international singing competitions including Accademia Belcanto in Graz, Grandi Voce in Salzburg, Ravello cittá di musica in Italy, and Gabriela Benackova in Žďár nad Sázavou. In 2022, he received the award for the best Verdi voice and interpretation at the Montecatini Opera Academy Italia.
Ardalan Jabbari’s students have succeeded internationally at top universities and have been successful in competitions including Uni. Prof. Chen Jie (vocal professor at Nanjing Normal University), Michal Rudziński (Staatstheater Nürnberg),  Ksenia Chubunova (Teatro Regio di Torino), Alper Göceri (soloist at the Istanbul Opera House), Elisabeth Halikiopoulos (musical performer and actress including at the Salzburg Landestheater), Irena Alhazova (Coburg Stadttheater, Slovak National Theater), Viktoria Leshkevic (Salzburg Landestheater), Diana Gouglina (Deutsche Oper Berlin), as well as soprano Anahita Malakouti (finalist of the international singing competition “Molfetta”), baritone Navid Taheri (Linz Landestheater), soprano Forooz Razavi (Accademia Teatro alla Scala and Teatro Oviedo), and Dr. Koosha Khorramian (Halifax Festival) in Canada.
Recently, Ardalan Jabbari has conducted masterclasses and vocal lessons in London, Ravello, Milan, Zakynthos, Ankara, Tehran, Istanbul, Tabriz, Shiraz, and Vienna.
Since February 2024, Ardalan Jabbari has been working as a Singing Teacher for solo singing and lecturer for the course “The professional Life in economic and legal terms for performing Artists” at the Richard Wagner Conservatory.
